The beginning of autumn will be marked by the beginning of the final countdown for the collection of signatures for the federal initiative for an unconditional basic income n° 2 and by the sudden death of Bernard Kundig, our late committee member, friend and valuable contributor to the UBI. He will not have been able to see this change of society for which he worked so hard materialize, but the commitment of everyone to make the current collection of signatures succeed will be a decisive step towards this positive change of society that he considered not only just, but also indispensable and inescapable, considering the evolution of the working world.

L'inizio dell'autunno sarà segnato dall'avvio del conto alla rovescia finale per la raccolta delle firme per l'iniziativa federale per un reddito di base incondizionato n. 2 e dall'improvvisa scomparsa di Bernard Kundig, nostro defunto membro del comitato, amico e prezioso collaboratore dell'RBI. Non potrà vedere concretizzato questo cambiamento della società per il quale si è tanto impegnato, ma l'impegno di tutti per garantire il successo dell'attuale raccolta firme sarà un passo decisivo verso questo cambiamento positivo della società che egli riteneva non solo giusto, ma anche indispensabile e ineludibile, vista l'evoluzione del mondo del lavoro.

Liebe Freundin, Lieber Freund,

Dieser Herbstanfang wird geprägt sein vom finalen Sammel-Countdown der Eidgenössischen Initiative für ein bedingungsloses Grundeinkommen Nr. 2 und vom plötzlichen Tod von Bernard Kundig, unserem verstorbenen Vorstandsmitglied, Freund und wertvollen Mitstreiter für das BGE. Er konnte den gesellschaftlichen Wandel, für den er sich so sehr eingesetzt hat, nicht mehr erleben. Aber das Engagement aller, um die laufende Unterschriftensammlung zum Erfolg zu führen, wird ein entscheidender Schritt auf dem Weg zu diesem positiven gesellschaftlichen Wandel sein, den er nicht nur für richtig, sondern angesichts der Entwicklung der Arbeitswelt auch für unverzichtbar und unausweichlich hielt.

Ce début d'automne sera marqué par le compte à rebours final de la récolte de signature pour l'initiative fédérale n°2 pour un RBI ainsi que malheureusement le décès soudain de Bernard Kundig, notre regretté membre du comité, ami et précieux contributeur du RBI. S'il n'aura pas pu voir se concrétiser ce progrès social pour lequel il a tant œuvré, l'engagement de chacun pour faire aboutir la collecte de signatures en cours sera une étape décisive vers ce changement positif qu'il considérait non seulement comme juste, mais autant indispensable qu'inéluctable, en regard de l'évolution du monde du travail.

The ordinary General Assembly of BIEN.CH on June 19th took place in a very friendly atmosphere! The role that the UBI could play during a health crisis was widely discussed, as well as the UBI pilot project in Geneva and the new federal initiative at the stage of collecting signatures. Die ordentliche Generalversammlung von BIEN.CH am 19. Juni fand in einer sehr freundlichen Atmosphäre statt! Die Rolle, die das BGE bei einer Gesundheitskrise spielen könnte, wurde ausführlich besprochen, ebenso wie das BGE-Pilotprojekt in Genf und die neue eidgenössische Initiative, die sich im Stadium der Unterschriftensammlung befindet. Ihr Erfolg hängt vom Engagement jedes Einzelnen ab!

Am 21. September 2021 wurde in Bern eine neue Initiative für ein BGE lanciert. Sie übernimmt im Wesentlichen den Wortlaut der vorherigen Initiative und ergänzt ihn um Bestimmungen, die den Erhalt der Sozialversicherungen und eine mittelstandsschonende Finanzierung gewährleisten sollen.
